1940s silver cigarette box with engine tuned decoration and engraved presentation inscription to the hinged lid (London 1947), maker Mappin & Webb, 18.5cm x 10cm x 6cm overall Total weight 659.2 grams. Very good, clean condition overall. There are no obvious damages of repairs. The box has some light surface scratching. It does not stand completely flush, it very slightly wobbles but the feet all appear to be in good condition. The lid sits slightly off centre but does not affect it opening and closing.

Victorian silver helmet shaped jug (Chester 1894), 14cm high Weight 120.7 grams. Some minor dents and surface scratches around the body of the jug commensurate with age and use. The hallmarks are nice and clear as shown in the additional image. The stem of the jug is distorted and although it stands without rocking the jug sits forward / to one side. The 14cm is the overall height from base to the top of the handle. The height from the base to the side of the jug rim is 10cm. The height from the base to the tip of the spout is 11cm.
